Originally dating back to 1616, this historic mill house has been carefully transformed into the office and experience showroom of Presence Collectibles, an extension of the design philosophy behind Van Raemdonck Designs. The project is a dialogue between heritage and contemporary refinement, where every intervention was guided by respect for the building’s remarkable history.

Rather than redefining its identity, the design seeks to reveal it. Original timber beams, natural stone walls, and centuries-old architectural details have been meticulously preserved and restored, allowing the character of the mill house to remain at the heart of the experience. New additions are deliberately understated, introducing a quiet sense of sophistication through honest materials, precise detailing, and timeless craftsmanship.

The spaces have been carefully curated to serve both as a functional workplace and as an immersive setting where the collections of Presence Collectibles can be experienced in their most authentic context. Furniture, lighting, art, and objects are presented not as individual pieces, but as part of a harmonious composition where architecture and interior design enrich one another.
